You can certainly go to Ron Paul Forums right now and get dizzy with insanity. I feel like Im reading Cybil’s diary. Last night after receiving a letter from Ron Paul there were HUNDREDS of people flocking to the forums to post their interpretations of his words, with 80% of them having this dejected “OH MY GOD ITS OVER” attitude. But here is my interpretation of his letter…..

Whoa! What a year this has been. And what achievements we have had. If I may quote Trotsky of all people, this Revolution is permanent. It will not end at the Republican convention. It will not end in November.

(roxi says: this campaign has far exceeded my expectations and I am in it til the end)

It will not end until we have won the great battle on which we have embarked. Not because of me, but because of you. Millions of Americans — and friends in many other countries — have dedicated themselves to the principles of liberty: to free enterprise, limited government, sound money, no income tax, and peace. We will not falter so long as there is one restriction on our persons, our property, our civil liberties. How much I owe you. I can never possibly repay your generous donations, hard work, whole-hearted dedication and love of freedom. How blessed I am to be associated with you. Carol, of course, sends her love as well.

(Roxi says: we have been discussing this at home and wondering what our chances are, and we have decided no matter what we won’t let our supporters down)

Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero.

(Roxi says: I have to sound dejected so everyone thinks I don’t feel like I have a chance of winning)

But that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get.

(Roxi says: Keep showing up at the caucuses we need delegates now more than ever)

But with so many primaries and caucuses now over, we do not now need so big a national campaign staff, and so I am making it leaner and tighter.

(Roxi says: I have realized that a percentage of my staff is incompetent, and wasting too much of your money so im cleaning house)

Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run. I do not denigrate third parties — just the opposite, and I have long worked to remove the ballot-access restrictions on them. But I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican.

(Roxi says: SEE i am loyal to the GOP, and will fight for the prosperity of the party no matter what)

I also have another priority. I have constituents in my home district that I must serve. I cannot and will not let them down. And I have another battle I must face here as well. If I were to lose the primary for my congressional seat, all our opponents would react with glee, and pretend it was a rejection of our ideas. I cannot and will not let that happen.

(Roxi says: I have made a promise to my supporters to do what it takes to fight for liberty and i will not let them down, so i will be running for both positions)

In the presidential race and the congressional race, I need your support, as always.

(Roxi says: KEEP donating money to both of my causes because a win in either outlet means a win for liberty)

And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will need you at my side. In the meantime, onward and upward! The neocons, the warmongers, the socialists, the advocates of inflation will be hearing much from you and me.

(Roxi says: no matter what happens we are fighting a cause not a specific election so if you give up you have worked hard for nothing, don’t let the neocons win)

NOW heres what needs to happen

everyone needs to quit being whiny crybabies and ban together for a mission, we can still get Ron elected but we are going to have to work as a team to do so. the only important thing right now is signing up as a precinct leader and calling the people on your list to show up at the caucus. and the following is an excerpt from a post on the forums from someone who hasn’t lost their mind:

1st. Do NOT wear any RP gear to caucus.

2nd. Use the Straw Poll as your gauge as to what to do next in your caucus. If it’s the 1st thing they do before delegate elections…great! If not, make a motion to have it 1st so if people want to leave they can. RP people will stay, for they are educated, the other’s will leave, leaving RP people to take all the delegate seats.

3rd. If the Straw Poll comes in strong for anyone other than RP, fly under the radar. If asked who is your candidate, hem and haw around and say something like: since Romney dropped out, I don’t know. Then they will still vote for YOU to be a delegate.

4th. If they then ask you why you want to be a delegate say things Republican like: I’m new to the party, liked Reagan, and I feel becoming a delegate is the best way for me to learn the system of the Party. OR I’m conservatie and I want to vote for the best candidate that can beat the Democrats!

6th. If people already know you are a RP supporter from other sources (canvassing, etc) STILL be Republican (help out with the caucus by volunteering for secretary or teller committee) but make a motion for a secret ballot for the delegate vote.

7th. Take along a stack of index cards (for use as secret ballots) and extra pens. Then the secret ballot will be easy.

this is very good advice and we need to all show up at the caucuses and conventions with bells on

The results are coming in and at first glance it seems discouraging. Im sure all over the world Ron Pauls supporters, their friends and families are saying one of two things: “what the hell happened” and “I told you so” What everyone needs to do is take a deep breath and remember a few things. First off these results are good. Even though it seems as though Ron Paul is coming in last, the popular votes mean NOTHING. Most of these Super Tuesday states are winner take all. What that means is if ONE candidate wins with 51% of the votes then the delegates are legally bound to vote for that winner. If no one candidate takes 51% then it becomes a brokered convention. With there being three virtual “frontrunners” there is no chance of any of the candidates taking that required 51%. Let me repeat THERE IS NO CHANCE OF ANY ONE CANDIDATE TAKING 51%. What does that mean you say? Let me break it down as simply as possible. Take Missouri for example. The Missouri caucuses are March 15th. Over a month away. On March 15th registered voters can show up at their county caucus locations to show their support for their candidate. Because there was no 51% winner then those voters are able to vote for any candidate they want. There is not much of a turnout at these caucuses. Only hard core GOP party members show up for the caucus and those numbers are not high. SO if 100 people show up at my county caucus in webster county, and 75 of us are Ron Paul supporters then we get ALL 15 OF WEBSTER COUNTIES DELEGATES. Same for each county. we can still win this election. All that needs to be done is for each and every Ron Paul supporter to show up at their county caucus. Thats it. JUST SHOW UP. at that point the real election results will be decided. The mainstream media is doing their best at brainwashing americans into believing that John McCain and Hillary are the nominees after tonight BUT THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE!

Ron Paul has a lot of money. He also has a lot of support. BUT its going to take more than money and support. GET on the phone. call your friends, ask them to come to the caucus to vote for YOU as delegate. call the voters in your county, find out which ones voted for ron paul. if those people will show up at the caucus for you then he will win. Or you can sit back and cry and whine that what you did wasn’t good enough and watch our country be ruled by neocons for at least 4 more years.

** State Leader of Paul Campaign File Complaint Against McCain’s Telemarketing Abuses**

“McCain inflicted campaign reform on us, he ought to follow the rules he created”

Oklahoma City – Kirk Shelley Oklahoma State Coordinator of Ron Paul Presidential campaign filed a formal complaint about John McCain’s illegal robo-calling with the Oklahoma Attorney General.

Kirk Shelley expressed his frustration with McCain’s calls.

“Everyone knows the rules on these calls, or they should” said Shelley, “when you run for President or work in federal campaigns you get attorneys to tell you what you can and can not do – calling non-supporters without a phone number to stop the calls is illegal.”

“Anyone who pays attention to politics in Oklahoma knows that Tim Pope was indicted by Drew Edmondson for this same thing. The McCain campaign or their telemarketing people sure should have known better.”

Shelley continued “the bigger picture to me is this – Sen. McCain has set himself up as leader for campaign reform by authoring ‘McCain-Feingold’ telling the rest of the country the rules he thinks we should follow, yet here he is violating those very rules he helped create. If you are going to create laws limiting the free speech rights of other Americans at least have the integrity to follow them yourself.”

I have sent copies of the illegal calls go to the Attorney General and I’m confident he will prosecute with the same diligence that he went after Tim Pope, and I hope the voters remember that the author of ‘so-called campaign reform’ broke his own rules.

things have been insane here, volunteers are coming by the carloads, our rented houses have air mattress floors with people lined up all over, streets are being heavily canvassed and taken over by supporters and signs. all the overpasses have banners, ernie hancock from arizona (the guy who created the revolution logo is here and his house is a BANNER MAKING FACTORY!!) josh lowry is here helping with that. ron paul has been here the last few days and we have been CRAZY busy

Dr Paul is in town, this makes our full time jobs double overtime, and we could never be more excited or tired. I have to roll out of NH tomorrow for christmas with my daughter, olivia but don’t worry ill be working from missouri and laura will be here so volunteers will still be coordinated

He went to portsmouth late this morning to have lunch with his family and then greet businesses and residents, we put signs all up and down the highway with signs which were removed by the NHDOT at 3pm (after Ron Saw them)even though the STATE TROOPERS had given us permission to have them on the highway til 5pm… a meetup member snapped this for us

so then we went had a sign wave just down from where ron was and told people where he was so they could hear him speak. Next we headed to Concord HQ to help with phone banking calling people to invite them to hear him speak over the next few days
putting signs together, etc

Ron paul had just left on his way to Franklin Pierce Law School to have a Presidential Forum, in which all candidates were invited, only 2 excepted, Dr. Paul, and Mike Gravel, who canceled at the last minute, so Dr Paul spoke about the cons of executive power and then had a Q and A with the audience, it was great, and as always he did SO AWESOME, man that guy is a genius!!! so here are a few pics

I watched the ticker til 3 am, a few of us did, some stayed asleep this is what happens when you try to sleep on tea party money bomb night….

we were expecting a huge storm and it had barely started, so i wasn’t really prepared for this in the morning….

so we pretty much thought we were snowed in so the guys made breakfast and coffee…

then a couple guys with trucks came and played in the snow on our street and eventually the snow plows came so the guys shoveled us out of the driveway, we ended up riding with someone else though since they drove out of their way to get us thinking we would be stranded. It was slushy but we made it pretty well, heres a picture going into the boston tunnel

the first place we stopped was quincy market which is right across from Faneuil Hall where the rally was being held, The market was really cool, I imagined what it was like when the founding fathers walked the streets of boston and what parts were original and what parts were not, Im fairly certain that the starbucks was probably there for sure, otherwise what would have kept sam adams and daniel webster energized?

so just walking around quincy market jay and I found plenty of other ron paul supporters including our OLFD roomates frank (tulsa, OK) and justin (poplar bluff, mo)who came with us, we were standing inside talking and drinking coffee when all of a sudden we see the crowd gathering in front of Faneuil Hall with, you guessed it, Ron Paul signs… there were people everywhere and the people inside the market were gathering at the windows to see the spectacle outside, this is what we could see…

then the granny warriors showed up

We went inside to the Hall and the energy was so amazing, I went to the Iowa straw poll and it was one of my first big events so of course i was excited, but it was so much like a competition parts of it were hard to enjoy. But the looks on peoples faces just made this so different, you could see in their eyes they were at their first big event, the electricity in them made me remember how it was the first time and it was so great to be a part of. if you would like to see for yourself watch this…..

After that we marched (loudly) to the state house for the boston tea party official reeinactment heres the video, and some pictures.

It was really funny because i had no idea about the reenactment of the debates over the tax that was to be imposed on the tea in boston back then, and I honestly didn’t know much about the history of it either, I was worried all day about not getting to put tea in the harbor and after the speeches were over, and I was trying to round everyone up for the group picture (not an easy task) Jim gave me two tickets to go to the state house and watch the reenactment, so i was worried i wouldn’t make it because we were already late. We finally marched there, and they were very welcoming to us even though the show had already started… some went in and some stayed outside, Then I didn’t see anything about them officially dumping tea in the harbor (which they normally do, i was told) and so I asked someone who appeared to be somewhat in charge and they said in fact no one would be doing that this year. I was never so disappointed considering this is WHY i wanted to go so badly. we all had plenty of ron paul tea bags though so we organized a march to the harbor to put in our tea bags, we chanted the whole way, trudging through snow, slush, ice and ice water puddles to get there but you would have never know it because everyone was so energetic, just like the march at the iowa rally but with less people. We lost about half our group

Coincidentally It happened to be VERY OLD, as a matter of fact it first opened in 1657 and was a “hotbed meeting place” for none other than…. you guessed it the founding fathers, can you imagine? It was even called the “headquarters of the revolution” by Sam Adams, Paul Revere, and Daniel Webster. My feet were walking on the same floor, I was sitting at the same bar, I could not have possibly been happier about that, and I had to get a sam adams to commemorate this amazing event in my life

We had a HUGE canvassing event last weekend in Rochester and afterwards we met up in Portsmouth for a little gathering, where there were a few reporters, and a great speech! so thanks to scott and charlotte for hosting that! ps the brand new camera batteries i had were bad so no pics on that…

we have had a LOT of new volunteers come in this week, we have rented several more houses, so i wont be able to be everywhere to keep you up with the latest BUT i will do what i can and I will keep you updated with at least ONE of the houses goings on…

The advantages of business canvassing: we met jeremy (pictured below) working at a gas station, and he now LOVES ron paul! he gets rid of bunches of materials for us, converts people left and right, and is going to the tea party with us too!!!

Just got home from canvassing, we hit downtown portsmouth, which was mostly apartment buildings that we couldn’t get into but we found plenty of people who wanted to take our lit. I talked to this one guy named Tom, who liked what RP had to say, but didn’t think he had a chance. By the time I left he was fully aware of how much of a chance RP actually has and after explaining the importance of voting on principle rather than who i thought might win he was more than willing to “waste” his vote anyway…

The ride home was scary… frozen roads, bad tires, and people driving like idiots = me closing my eyes the whole way home. There is a new volunteer coming tonight so that should be exciting here are a couple of pics I snapped today…. i threw in a pretty one for ya and a short video above.

I met Ron Paul again last night, he was as awesome as he ever was! He came to tell us all thanks for coming up here and working so hard for him. We are having a great time up here. Our roomates are all really cool, we have lots of fun and we get to promote ron paul all day long

Ron Paul supporters from all over the country came to new hampshire yesterday to help with a HUGE canvassing event to do voter IDing and spread the word about ron paul. we met at different locations throughout the state and instructions, packets, and ron paul paraphanalia was distributed.

then afterwards we all met up at Murphy’s Taproom in Manchester to celebrate, meet everyone else and just have a good time. Murphys is owned by a Free state project member and they love Ron Paul. There was also a Monarchs game going on at the verizon building and we all held signs outside while people were leaving the game. Ron Paul came by to tell everyone thanks for being there and volunteering.

We headed to portsmouth to watch the CNN-Youtube debate with the Portsmouth meetup group. We got introduced to everyone and as usual, as with all Ron Paul supporters we have met everyone was awesome. As we were ordering dinner the debate started and we got some attention from the other bar patrons when we were applauding Ron taking the stage. Then all throughout the night i kept noticing people from other parts of the bar coming over to watch the debate with us. we had a great time jack bought all of us OLFD people dinner (we had the best pizza ever) and I personally thought the debate went awesome. RP made himself look great, he stood up for himself, he was passionate, and all the other guys made them selves look like complete idiots. so heres a couple of pics of us at the debate watch party

We have been super busy the last few days, I haven’t had a chance to do much updating so heres the scoop.

tuesday a guy named bill called and said he had seen our video blogs online and had some gifts for us. he stopped by and brought each of us a gift certificate for a local grocery store. This was the best gift we could have gotten, feeding 10 people isn’t easy. so heres bill giving us the gifts. I will upload the video in the player on ronpaultulsa.com/NH tomorrow.

later in the evening we went to Murphys in Manchester and hung out with Ron Paul supporters and FSP members. Tuesday nights we all meet up and everyone gets together just to relax and talk about what we have been doing for the last few days. heres some pics of that as well.

Charles brought home two live lobsters last night and just laid them on the floor. They were super cool, I have personally never touched a live lobster, much less one crawling on my living room floor. The kids thought they were pets and when they went into the pot they were like “where did our pets go?” So the lobster was steamed and from what I hear it was very good. I myself have a general rule about not eating anything I have petted within the last hour, so I opted out. But it was a fun experience I thought i would share. Today was our first official day of canvassing. We went to Exeter, NH and started on a list of addresses from HQ. The canvassing packets make it really easy. the addresses are mapped out in order, and the script is super easy to follow. People are really cool with strangers walking up to their doors too. We had a few people say they didn’t have time or weren’t interested in getting information but they would still answer a few questions about their voting status. The campaign has an official strategy for us to follow which makes it easy to not get wrapped up in conversations about our own opinions of RP.

The first time someone actually said “I am voting for Ron Paul” I almost didn’t know what to say, I was so excited I just wanted to yell “I am one of you!” after explaining How i had just come from Oklahoma to help with this effort he was very interested in what we were doing and said he wasn’t a “ron paul junkie” like me but he was definitely voting for him.

we had a really good response. MOST of these people are undecided, not leaning toward one or the other, with only a few ideas about ron paul. Most had heard of ron paul, and heard about NOV 5th. I was so so pleased with our results and the responses.

we got home and did some video blogging and now we are on our way to the bar at the end of the street where a band is playing. we have some of the ozzfest flyers so were going to talk to that crowd about the war, and the war on drugs.

ITS A REVOLUTION BITCHES!

Black friday has been the unofficial beginning of the Christmas season at least since the start of the modern Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924. “Black Friday” was originally so named because of the heavy traffic on that day, although most contemporary uses of the term refer instead to it as the beginning of the period in which retailers are in the black (i.e., turning a profit).

for Ron paul supporters it means there are hundreds of freezing people standing in lines waiting to be let in to spend their fiat money on useless products, ready to be primed for the freedom message.

we left hampton at 3:30 am to drive to the nearest “shopping district” in Portsmouth.
The first place we drove by was circuit city. There were at least 150 people in line and we dove right in… This first crowd was pretty rough. Most of them were just too damn cold to be interested in anything other than being let in the front doors but we got a few good responses. We moved on to the mall and hit up the best buy crowd first.

These people were hilarious… The first guy I got to have a real conversation with says “oh no, Gialuliani is my guy. When Hunter asked him why he supported the ghoul, he couldn’t even answer, and turned the question into, well tell me something about ron paul… “IM GLAD YOU ASKED”… after explaining to this guy that Mr. 9/11 was not who he says he is and telling him why, and also why Ron Paul should be his man, I think he finally realized that maybe he hadn’t looked into it enough.

we moved on to a cold young lady who was full of questions. mostly about why the UN was bad, what Ron would do for the environment, blah blah blah…. after explaining the bigger picture to her she was primed and ready to switch from Obama to Ron.

a group of young guys were all about Ron Paul and helped create a buzz around them by screaming “Ron Paul is the MAN!!!”…it didn’t take much work after that we worked the crowd a while longer, and when on to the people standing in line at STAPLES… what people could seriously want that bad from STAPLES is beyond me (it was like 20 degrees out,

I told one guy i had drove here from Oklahoma and he was like OMG you must be freezing.. after laughing about what a puss i was for being cold, he was very interested in the fact that so few people voted in the primaries last election, because he was one of those people. I told him about November 5th and he was VERY VERY INTERESTED in that.

So we handed out plenty of materials. I wish we would have had hot chocolate, I promise we would have gained 50 new hardcore supporters.

I have never in my life been woken up by the smell of food cooking, I mean i have awoke to the smells, but the smells have never woke me…til today, We arrived in New Hampshire at 8 am and after driving all night we fell asleep before our heads hit the pillow. I came down the stairs to see Laura making a homemade Thanksgiving dinner from scratch. We had everything, Turkey, sweet potatoes (the best ever) dressing, mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, homemade apple pie. The next best thing to being at your moms house for thanksgiving, is being at someone elses moms house, and we picked the right house to be. Dinner went great we have all had a lot of fun and now we are sitting around the table playing some texas hold em waiting til its time to leave for black friday.

The longer it took to leave Kansas city the more I couldn’t wait to get to New Hampshire. We started on the road at 9 pm expecting to arrive sometime around 10 wednesday night. of course on a 1700 mile road trip what you expect and what you get are usually two different things. I woke up somewhere in Indiana to a pop, squeal and swerving and realized a tire had blown up. We pulled over and started emptying out the packed full trunk to get the jack and donut. Lo and behold after the trunk was completely empty we found the jack, but no donut. The fuzzy memory of giving away our donut at the yard sale was swimming around in my brain while several cuss words were floating out of my mouth. So surveying our options at 4 am we had some closed looking businesses, a hotel, a truck stop and a mc donalds. Jay decided to walk up to the area and see what he could find out. He came back about 45 minutes later. He had posted a call for help message on the forums, and all we could do at this point was wait.

Its a strange experience waking up on the highway to a state trooper knocking on your window. Since it was obvious what had happened, what with a shredded tire laying next to the car, he only smiled and said, what can I do to help you guys? So he got on his phone and called a tow truck at the discount tire shop that was literally 200 yards from where our car sat on the highway. Had we known how close it was I would have carried the damn tire there to save that $75 towing charge.

Something good came out of it anyway. I spent the 30 minutes it took to change the tire talking with the shop owner about Ron Paul. First topic of conversation was about the IRS. Not much talking was needed on my part, the guy sounded like he was preaching Ron’s words himself. It didn’t take long to realize the guy was going to be a hardcore supporter when he gave us our bill for $100 and said “hell, ill just send that right back to him” pointing at the liberty cards we had put on the counter for his customers.

SOOO if anyone in Indiana needs a tire go to the discount tire shop of of I-70 about 30 minutes west of Indianapolis. talk to Jeff, hes a good guy.

After that, It was my turn to drive. I hit deadlock traffic about 5 minutes before columbus, OH that didn’t stop until we were at least 30 miles out of the city. After 2 hours in traffic not moving an inch a mile, I was ready to let Jay take over again.

around The middle of pennsylvania the fog got thick and stayed that way all the way to NH. When we passed over the Hudson River we couldnt see 2 feet in front of us and we didn’t really see much again til this afternoon. As we were driving in to Hampton the tide was up and the waves were crashing over the bridge onto the road.

All in all it was a good trip, the blowout turned out to bring RP another donator, and we made it one piece.

here is a pic of the tattoo i got the other night, a friend of mine is an apprentice and did this as my going away present sunday afternoon.

I got a new tattoo sunday. A lot of people are going to think Im crazy for getting a Ron Paul related tattoo, “what if he doesn’t win” they say…. But this tattoo is not about Ron Paul. This tattoo is about the message. The message of freedom, of people taking back their country as I am attempting to do now. The message of a Revolution. I have a tattoo for every significant event in my life. I think selling everything I own and going halfway across the country to spread this message is a pretty significant event. So to you nay sayers out there. This is a revolution bitches!!!!!!!

We woke up super early this morning and had to rearrange the car. when i picked up jay in springfield he added stuff to the already full car and there was odds and ends laying everywhere. We stayed in monett, Mo for a little while, dropping off campaign materials to friends we have turned onto ron paul. We stopped at a gas station in Lamar, Mo that had presidential candidate lighters with caricatures of the “top tier” candidates on them. I asked if they had any Ron Paul lighters and the guy looked at me with that glazed over “who the hell is ron paul” look on his face, so of course we had to explain and bitch about the media being owned etc. We are now in Kansas City and we will stay the night here, leaving sometime tomorrow after we get the window fixed in the car.
